A colleague is involved with the Neuroblastoma Society who are trying to come up with ways to tell GPs more about neuroblastoma (how to recognise symptoms etc) but are also aware that GPs are somewhat submerged in mailshots and other info. They would therefore welcome views on what might be the most effective means of communicating such information, and what factors are important, eg balance of concise/punchy with enough detail to be useful, ways to attract attention, electronic means, gizmos/gimmicks, etc. Or is the only sound way to encourage people to write about it in Lancet/BMJ, or in the GP comics? What about LMCs, public health, BMA, Royal College, health visitors, etc?
All comments and suggestions appreciated.
TIA
