As part of discussions with the NHS Executive, as to how white paper targets to get all GP connected to NHSNet and able to receive path lab results, can be met. GP system suppliers have raised the issue of the current bureaucracy and delays associated with getting a working connection. We have been challenged by NHS Executive to produce details of specific examples.
I am interested in any information list members can provide. I want both information about the time the process took and other difficulties encountered. For example was the process and documentation clear? Did you have any difficulty in agreeing to the terms of agreements you were asked to sign? I would like as much information as possible including dates and copies of any documentation or correspondence which illustrates your experience. This information will be kept confidential between Myself and NHS Executive but needs to be identifiably to fully achieve my objectives. I would also be interested in similar information on the basis that I do no disclose the providers identity but this will carry less weight.
