We scan all in-comming clinical correspondance 50-60 letters daily, we
find a sheetfeeder attached to a HP flat scanner very useful. Click
'Auto' have some coffee and then return to cut & paste the results into
the clinical system. Paper no longer filed in Lloyd George and
immediately available to the next person seeing the patient.
Using Caere Omnipro to scan & ocr pasting to Reuter's Vision - only
problem appears to be large/long letters due to filing system limit of
?8k free text maximum (about 4 closely typed A4 pages - damn
psychiatrists)
short answer YES!
