If (medical) Information is held by a person in a readily readable format
all kinds of organisations, institutions and persons will want to have
access. The person can be in control. They say. The complete autonomy of
the FREE person.
The problem arrises when the person/patient wants a service. Then he not
free any longer. The patient will give up his free will and provide the
requestor with the information.
If information is kept by a proxy (e.g. a GP) then the patient can be
reminded of the consequences of giving information without a proper
indication.
