NHS Net or Gross?

Dr Neill Jones, Dr Simon de Lusignan & Mr Collin Pye
Dr Neill Jones is a practising GP in Tyne & Wear. He has had a long interest
in IT and has been using computers during his consultations for many years.
His practice has just signed up to NHS Net and he will be able to provide
details of what this actually entails. Neill will be speaking about the
'cons' of the NHS Net.
Dr Simon de Lusignan is a practising GP in Guildford. He is part of a
project team that have recently secured a further two years funding from the
NHS South Thames Region for the further development of 'The Doctors Desk'.
The Doctors Desk is an application that has been designed for the NHS Net
and is a method by which practices may subscribe to the NHS Net. Simon will
be speaking about the 'pros' for the NHS Net.
Mr Collin Pye is part of the NHS Telecommunications Branch and is involved
in some large national projects, including the NHS Net. Collin will put the
case forward from an NHS strategic view point and will answer some of the
claims that its all got a little too complicated!
