I know of 3 lightening strike episodes that cooked PCs and only one of
them was switched on - I think every one was via the phone line - modem
cooked and route appearing to be via serial cable to PC.
I have heard talk of lightening surge via the earth line - has anyone
had this happen?
I wonder if BT are addressing the problem - anyone know?
Cheers
