A local chemist (on the fringe of out area) refused to dispense Triludan to
a patient as she was 70 and on BP Rx. She stated that the Dr. (me) was
being irresponsible! Fortunately the patient was on my side!
A major chain a couple of weeks ago said to a young mother that my script
of Dienoestrol to her 2 year old (child had marked peri-vulval adhesions)
with instructions to use it for a week written on the script, was "wrong".
Again I know mum well and she insisted that the chemist phone me and jolly
well give he the stuff.
I'm a bit paranoid now!
What should I do?
John Charlton.
Derby.
Ps. I'm a conservative chap when it comes to scripts!
