you must be joking about industrial action. Of all the gov legislation, PCGs
is the one that will go through. Was at a meeting about PCGs on thursday with
the HA. Rumour control has it that the treasury is flush with money, having
already found £300m at v short notice for waiting lists. A PCG keen to get
going and quickly progress (there will be pilots of fast-track PCGs in each
HA) could attract v favourable funding, just like the first-wave fundholders
did.

So, the current administration has a huge majority and is therefore
unassailable in anything it wants to do? The bleating of a bunch of
wimps?
Today the teachers *cancelled* their industrial action over needless
bureacracy because the government backed down, volt-faced, u-turned,
caved in, etc.
I think there is lesson for our 'leaders' there somewhere.
