It's the 'exposed' bit that I am worried about ;-)
The film is 'The Producers' by Mel Brooks and starred Zero Mostell and
Gene Wilder as the desperate stage producers who hit on the idea that a
flop can make them more money than a hit (get the sponsors money,
close after one night and run).
They search for a sure fire play that will be a flop after just 1
night. They find something called 'Spring Time For Hitler and
Germany'. Anyway....
The film features one of Wilder's best performances (and Mostell).
Gene Wilder has the immortal word: "nanumna'. His security blanket.
The film, btw, had nothing to do with the thread except in the sense
that I wanted to write something along the lines of 'Spring Time For
Dobo and NHS'.
