Hi Maresah
I would be very interested in the papers, or the citations if you get
any. We have had a long-running argument with various bodies here in
Aldershot concerning the setting up of a minor injuries service.. (to
replace the local casualty dept. which closed). A "study" was made of
the problem, and the whole thing was dropped by the HA as not cost
effective.. particularly as the local A&E consultant was against the
whole idea.
Now with the advent of putative PCG's the Minor injuries Unit is on the
agenda again.
