Of course, I knew about those financial deficits. The difference is
that they are now *my* responsibility! There *is* something new here.

I would be stupid not to acknowledge the pros. Much in the same way
that I'd be stupid not to acknowledge good things about, for example,
fundholding.
To expect me to champion the pros is like expecting Labour going into a
campaign singing the praises of the Tories! (some would argue that they
may have ;-)
I think someone like me is pretty capable of examining the issues
critically and thoughtfully. Dismissal based on considered and
informed opinion.
'DFI' is 53 days old today. Looking at the front pages of the comics
today, I'd say it's come a long way.
I'd also say that half the battle may have already been won.
Therefore, I'll leave you to think in peace and quiet whilst I move on
to work on the next stage. As far as I am concerned, the argument
about the pros and cons of PCGs is over :-)
