I was censored by one of the GPs! Often happens in shotgun marriages
;-)

Shouting it to the world will not alter the fact that the PCG *has* to
come up with the solution. It can only be achieved by cutting services
to patients or income to GPs. Guess whose neck gonna be on the
chopping block?
First prize for correct guess: whole day with me
Second prize: 2 whole days!

Weight, maybe. The difference between shareholders and stakeholders
has been discussed here on many occasions. Besides, I don't think
that the tabloids are going to scream: "CHC denies treatment to
elderly
people", do you?

Yeah, it enforces my worst fears :-)

We would have restored pride and *real* influence

If that were to happen, then we'll just have to take a view, won't
we? (unless, of course, our 'temporary' leadership declares: "yes
please, more, more, yes yes yes..." :-)
I don't think that even Mr Milburn can run the health service with a
bunch of lobby fodder irrespective how numerous they are ;-)
