According to the LMC Secretaries Conference on 17 April, clinical governance
is likely to cover the following areas;
quality improvement processes ( eg clinical audit )
good practice systematically disseminated
adverse effects detected , openly investigated and lessons learnt
poor clinical performance dealt with
clinical effectiveness
continuous professional development
clinical risk management/reduction
R & D
This has to be a ten year programme I guess.
Lots there to create problems between practices
