we've had a locum who swears by live yoghurt for all vaginal conditions. I had
thought it was the wrong species of lactobacillus. Am I wrong? and is there
any evidence that it works?

Was this applied internally or externally?
And if internal by which route?
Of course warm water externally, preferably with sufficient salts to
increase density, is a remedy for heart failure, varicose veins and
piles - Bath Spa and so on.
