The last digit on the new prescriptions is a check digit. Ignore it and
you will see they are sequentially numbered. Should have been separated by
a hyphen to make it clear.
Seem to be working fine at our surgery. Better quality paper though the
dark colour means the printer ribbons will have to be replaced more often
or no-one will read the script at all. HP quietjet works OK too.
Why can't we have proper scripts that could go through a laser? Would
surely be more difficult to alter than any other printing method and more
legible too!
