Okay, okay you guys I got the message...
I have apologised to Jeff Green (is he the only pharmacist on the list apart
from me ??) already, and I hope he is happy to stay. I only meant to create
a debate on an issue which might be of importance. (I have been involved in
a couple of lists with varying degrees of security where these issues have
arisen - one was a pharmacy mailing-list and I think I was the only doc. I
got flamed for suggesting that GP's might (in the very, very near future) be
able to print detailed medication instructions from monthly updated CD-ROM's
on our desktops and thereby possibly diminish the involvement of the
pharmacist; I myself tend to favour more open access in these forums to
primary providers in the true interactive sense, however there will be some
issues which may be touchy.
