One of the drug companies is promoting a service using a credit card sized
recorder which the patient carries around with them until an arrhythmia is
noted, at which time the device can be pressed against the chest wall to
record the event. The little box will store up to three recordings, after
which you simply dial phone the number on the back of the card, and play the
recordings down the line. Not long afterwards you are sent a hard copy of
the rhythm together with an interpretation through the post.
At least that's what the rep said, but I can't remember which company.......
(I'm at home & the stuff's at the office ! ).
Oh, and there is a fee for the service , of course.
