(yes it is pie in sky. Never seen truly *equal* partnership between
employer and employee and shareholder will never be the same as
stakeholder. Human nature just ain't like that).

Here we are already arguing about 'boards', 'politics', 'power',
'representation', 'employer/employee divides', 'shareholders vs
stakeholders', etc.
All the differences that have long been suppressed are bubbling up to
the surface. This process will continue and all the time the real
issues are being left behind.
This is at a time when we ought to be talking about health service
underfunding, 1000 GP shortage, 24hr contracts, direct patient care
and my poor poor 45yr old patient who had his ca pancreas op delayed
because of lack of ITU beds until his tumour became inoperable.
Yeah, let's all talk about executive boards and what car should the CEO
drive for a while longer.
