Hard work, easy work, useful, not useful.
It depends on what you do.
Rotherham MAAG, now QIP (quality in practice - merger between MAAG,
CME and VTS) have done a number of district audits which have been
useful.
Within the Practice it is essential to know how our 'big'
work eg asthma, diabetic and anticloagulant clinics are doing.
Also essential to support development bids, etc.
And reassuring to know that we are doing more audit than the local
hospitals, despite the £100,000's of pounds they have and protected
time:-(
