I just wish people would stop sending html messages!

Actually, I am now using something called 'Becky' (!). Try it, you'll
love it! http://www.rimarts.co.jp (see below)
The zero-content 'attachment' are vCards sent by Outlook and other
mailers. I agree, they irritate the pants off me :-)

A lot of the enhancement are totally unnecessary. Particularly when
they are at the expense of essential functions and features.
Have you tried to add a new mail address from a message in Outlook? It
could take weeks! In 'Becky', I am offered a list of *all* email
addresses in any given message where I can just add the address with one
click! Very useful with mail from mailing list when the default is from
the list address. At the same time, it lets you select who to reply to
>from that list. Good when you want to reply to some but not all of the
senders.
Another very handy feature in 'Becky' is the 'reminder' function. You
can send yourself an email reminder at any given date and frequency.
Lots of other very useful stuff including 20 separate mail accounts and
signatures, remote mail handling and 'check all' function.
Pegasus is very powerful, small and fast, but, I agree with you re
the interface, specially when you have millions of filing trays and
folders, I do like the better organisation of 'nested folders'.
