Yes , but there has to be a balance between this and personal privacy.
An employer can't expect loyalty from employees unless they feel
trusted. How far should employers reasonably be able to pry into
employees' private lives? It's one thing for an employer to confront
someone who rolls in from lunch drunk, but is it any of their business
what employees do on a Friday night, provided they are sober on Monday
morning?

Like it's not unethical for a pre-employment health questionnaire to
ask a person's GP detailed questions about their patient's sexual
preferences, so long as the patient knows this is taking place???
