to say that i am not sure this is a resignation issue yet though i am
thinking about it. when i feel it is a resignation issue i will join

Yomi, I agree with your (snipped) sentiments, but I don't follow the logic
of the above. I, too, do not feel this is a resignation issue. I am very
happy where I am. However, I support DFI. If a PCG is foisted on me above
level 1, I shall actively work to be as difficult, late, unhelpful and
mischievous as possible. (I hope the local keenies are lurking) I shall
encourage patients to write to MPs, newspapers etc. if I feel that they are
losing out because of local decisions of which I disapprove. I will not
resign, but some people may wish I would!
