Surely not, Mike. This is a bit like saying 'we should have stopped Hitler
in the Rheinlandd, but now it's a bit late'. If the battle's worth
fighting, then it's always worth fighting.
I've not really got involved with this debate to date, but...
Surely a 'contract' is binding on both sides? If we are 'independent
contractors' to the NHS, then what is the legal (or moral) status of a
contract that the other side can change at will? Graham?
