The deadline for registrations is 15th June 1998. The registration fee is forty pounds (students
twenty-five pounds) and accomodation is available for an extra charge if required.
This inaugural one-day conference is aimed at a multidisciplinary audience interested in the
development of 3D tracking systems such as the FASTRAK, ISOTRAK and similar
technologies for human motion analysis in clinical and / or sports related applications.
The conference is being organised by the Staffordshire FASTRAK Users Group who are
currently working on the development of the FASTRAK in measuring cervical spine, shoulder,
lumbar spine and hip motion.
The proposed timetable consists of oral presentations in the morning, a poster exhibition
during lunch and interactive demonstrations in the afternoon. The conference should appeal to
medical practitioners, physiotherapists, biomechanists, biomedical engineers, physicists,
statisticians, mathematicians, podiatrists and other professionals with a special interest in
human movement.
