I often advise 'rice water'.......and people look at me very strangely!
Half boil rice and drain the water when cloudy with the starch. Let it cool,
shake and flavour (it must be foul alone) and drink regularly. the starch
'binds' the toxins and the diarrhoea slows. There is no constipation and you
can add salt to aid rehydration.
I read this somewhere that the WHO or UNICEF are using this in the third
world so I guess its OK for Berkshire. I have very rarely had any feedback
that it has failed.
Anyone else use this?
