One slightly tempting piece of kit is the Compaq 808 Integrated
Access Device, which appears to be a hub (the central part of a UTP
network) with a coax socket on it to run the legacy thin ethernet
network many of us have, and an ISDN interface and an IP router -
which for a small network may be a more suitable solution
to security than a firewall.
http://www.swis.net/health/midgley/firewall.htm
is a draft document relating to that, not one of mine.
It also has a couple of connections for analogue phone systms.
The Compaq thingy is £464.13 incl VAT
