The WHO has a list of 200 'essential' drugs.
In the UK, we have over 20,000 branded drugs on the market.
One or the other is grossly wrong. I expect the truth to be somewhere
in the middle but much nearer the WHO figure.
Hands up anyone who has a Practice or personal formularly that is larger
than 1000 items.
