Jon: you are missing the point Graham is making. It still means that
for a solo GP, that option (of 50% attendance and/or deputy) does not
apply. The solo GP will *have* to go to every meeting and work much
harder and really really forget about 50% attendance 'coz he'll need all
the attendance he can get.
An absent partner from an 8-doctor practice, albeit 'nominated', hardly
has an impact on the rest of the practice. He has the luxury of
spending several hours with hardly a dent in the practice's schedule.
Now, you try that if you were solo!
