I could point you to a large number of VM users in both Merseyside and
elsewhere in the country who *are* happy with VM. That is not to say that
they don't believe it could be improved upon - and RHI with NVUG have been
continuously striving to improve the product. I was at a meeting today where
the implemetation of future improvements and developments in VM were put
forward. A lot of time and effort is still going into VM to continue to
provide many practices with a reliable and dependable text based system into
the next century.

We (NVUG) *have* discussed this, and had concerns that we would not be able
to properly represent the concerns and issues relating to SMUG at meetings
with Reuters. It was generally felt that it would be best if the User Groups
liased and worked together on major issues of commonality, but worked
separately in relation to specific issues relating to the individual
products. But I will raise the issue again at our next Executive meeting in
April

Yes, we have had to work hard, to build up a good working relationship with
the company. We have effected very many changes in all the systems, by
working with and co-operating with Vamp/RHI. I would encourage all leaders
in the various GP IT user groups to do the same, to benefit the users who
elected them.

Vamp Medical has just been accredited to RFA4! (I spoke to the programmer
yesterday)
