A good few months back I posted a case history about a woman who had B12
deficiency and Iron deficiency who was completely unwilling to
countenance hospital investigation.
Solomon Risk suggested checking for Gliadin antibodies. I did so and
before Xmas they came back positive. I talked to her about this and she
agreed to see a dietician and go on a gluten free diet. It's early days
but she reports a great improvement in wellbeing and her B12 levels are
not falling for the first time. Also putting on weight. She never
had much in the way of bowel distubance interestingly enough although
some years back she did.
Hey Ahmad, do you ever go into telephone booths and re emerge in a cape
and skin tight bodice with "S. Doc" written on it. :-)
