Joe:
I do shoulder injections. All quite easy, 5 types:
1. Subacromial bursa, posterior approach, best for "painful arc" symptoms;
2. Anterior approach for acromioclavicular joint;
3. Posterolateral approach for glenohumeral joint;
4. Bicipital groove for tendinitis.
5. Suprascapular nerve block
Xray recommended before injection, but the results are quite good, and they
aren't painful- at least when you use a local anaesthetic as well!
