We have discussed this, and the talk always revolves around the problem
of pressure groups etc. Patient representation all too often is self
selected, and over-focussed. We are fortunate in having good CHC
officers, and it would be very helpful if the "consumer input" was
organised by the CHC, who have been doing it for a long while, and have
a broad enough base to be able to take a strategic view.
