Definately not. Are counsellors flexible enough to manage primary care
demand? They seem to have a six times 50 minute paradigm as far as
treatment length is concerned when clearly the counselling need for acute
dustress must vary enormously. If they could get the idea that for many
folk priorities are reordered after say one 30 minute session, and that
they ought to be able to assess needs in say 15 minutes, they might not
have a 3 month waiting list!
