at least now you have some sympathetic, touchy-feely colleagues to cyber-hug
with!! Seriously, you need to reduce your work load- have you tried being
assertive more and saying no to pts, staff and partners once in a while-worked
wonders for me??

This is a wonderfully touching and very real story. Somehow, it
touched on something very deep in me :-)
So eloquent and to the point.
I wish one of the lurking journos would put this in the nationals.
BTW, just before spilling the milk, you forgot to mention the pile of
gp-uk messages (encounters?) you had to deal with ;-)
