How true. A PP does not abdicate his right to NHS treatment by going private.
That is why when a PP CABG goes bad at a PP hosp. they get transfferred to the
NHS!! In some ways a shame.

I'm afraid you are mistaken on this one Trefor. I've discussed this scenario
with the MDU who are clear that the "conversion" of a private script to an
FP10 is perfectly permissable, provided of course, that the disorder justifies
the Rx and the patient is one of your NHS patients. In fact it is their
opinion that refusal to issue a script under these circumstances may land you
in hot water! :-)
