Dear Collegues,
I am a postgraduate Public Health student in Rome, and am conducting an
academic project on comparison between clinical classification systems. The
aim is to assess aplicability in the italian primary care context.
I subscribed to this mailing list as I was seeking info, but found many
interesting discussions and conversations going on. By the way, what is
"Archers"?
Having visited the CAMS web site (and ordered the evaluation copy) and
others, I still have
a few unclear points regarding Read codes. I would be very grateful if you
could help me in this regard.
In particular, I would very much apreciate information regarding the
following:
1- extension of utilization among GP practices with a computer
2- estimated proportion of "computerized" practices in the UK
3- If the classification is extensivly used in countries other then the Uk,
and in which
4- if the Read Clinical Classification has been translated in any language,
and
particularly in Italian
5- if I am I right in understanding that the classification is available in
SofWare format only
6- if any evaluation of accuracy of coding with RCC been
performed
7- if coding with RCC is as easy and straighforward as described
Many thanks
Sonya Martin
