Jel.. What is the date of the imprint, and is it a first impression?
These two points make quite a difference I believe.
Also of course the state of preservation.. but these old medical books
are getting very popular..
I have an old Welcome Medical Diary for 1930.. it is virtually a medical
compendium, and is wonderful for dipping into for strange drugs..we
really have it good these days. Imagine treating cystitis with :- "A
hot fomentation to the hypogastrium, along with bed rest and a
suppository of Morphine et Belladonna, and Hexamine and Methylene Blue
by mouth for 14 days".... Would do wonders for drugs bill, but not much
for list size.
