18th LONDON PGEA FORUM FOR GENERAL PRACTITIONERS
Monday - Friday 14 - 18 September 1998
The programme consists of lectures, seminars and group discussions.
Among the topics are recent advances in respiratory medicine,
rheumatology, hypertension, and palliative care, primary care led NHS,
financial planning, inner city health, discrimination and racial
prejudice in health care, hands on emergency care skill stations,
primary care mental health, and medicine at the edges. Within the week
a major debate will take place on 'The British health service is the
best in the world' with a proposer and opposer. The social side is not
neglected - a Forum Dinner will be held in the Great Hall at St
Batholomew's Hospital.
