<<Can anyone suggest a suitable anti-emetic for use while reading the
spoutings
of Sir KC>>
Yeah I find Glenfiddich pretty good myself. Not only does he have the
simple-minded black and white approach of the reject from third-rate
clinical specialist status but he is also well on the way to becoming a
total wanker.
<<>P74..."Lung Cancer:....health promotion and smoking cessation are
relevant."
Well, blow me, I've never thought of that!>>
When you run out of things to say......just repeat the obvious. The
collective IQ of the likely readership (membership of GP-UK of course
excepted) of his ramblings would not make the ton I fear. But seriously,
is anyone else as disappointed as I am to find that the DoH and trust
senior honchos are not, well, being diplomatic about all this, terribly
bright?
<<A thank you to Declan Fox (i think it was) for reminding me of that most
excellent phrase "gobshite">>
Thank you! As you might know, when we Irish were forced to abandon the
Gaelic for the English we brought our own approach to your language,
related to our own mental linguistic processes. And no I am not pulling
your leg, that is the number one theory for why we have produced so many
great writers and poets despite our small population.
<<Seriously, is there anyone out there who feels that these "models" serve
any
useful purpose at all, for anyone who is not on a "committee"?>>
Absolutely none. They are produced to fill up reports and justify the
existence of aforesaid onanists on aforesaid committees. They may not be
totally aware of this---in fact they may have no awareness of it at
all--but they are on to a nice number there with their illusions of making
major contributions to our health (speaking here as a tax-payer and voter)
and they don't have to go back into the battlefield like the rest of us.
How about a mass mailing from all 600+ GP-UK members to the balding one on
this?
Declan
