The HP QuiteJets were the original consulting room printers supplied by us from 1987 and also used by other suppliers. Apart from the fact that they produced rather faint (but readable) print on the less than ideal FP10 paper and were not very cheap, they have a lot going for them. We still have many thousands out working in the field. However, HP stopped making them years ago, consumables seem to be freely available but we have only limited access to spares, fortunately as Allan says they rarely go wrong.

We use Hewlett Packard inkjets in surgery, take FP10's in the box, very reliable
and use reasonably priced catridges. I don't know if they still make them but the
consumables are readily available.
Mine churns through a box of 2000 scripts every couple of months and has done so
for the last 8 years with no servicing other than blowing out the little circular
bits from the sides of the perforations every few months; they collect in the bottom
of the machine.
