Been reading this thread and agreeing, nodding as you do, yup RBBB most
often requires no investigation/treatment etc.. etc. and I then thought how
many times do I spend time, energy, explaining to dollops with more money
than sense who go to these "Medicals" that the abnormality that was found
requires no follow up. :-(
Did expect someone to blow this one right out of the water. Write to GMC? We
can all use angles to explain why an exercise EKG was undertaken, rightly or
wrongly. ;-)
Nope think you should spend no time at all on this one. Copy the lot and
send it off to the cardiologist.
Looking at another thread on resigning as a GP, well yes I too would like to
call it a day 20 years early but why not break the system from inside?
You're not paid enough to take that sh*t, responsibility or otherwise, refer
them and hasten the demise of the NHS. :-)
