I was always lead to believe that you can only snore while lying on
your back, and that the 'cure' was to sew a cotton reel onto the
snorers pyjama's in the small of the back. As soon as he (it was
always 'he' when I heard about it) turned on to his back, the cotton
reel would dig into him, and cause him to lie on his side.
Is any of that really true?
