<<Anyone know of any good jobs going for this tired GP? >>
1. Go private.
2. Retire early on health grounds.
3. Do DLA exams
4. Teach computing, PC comms, internet stuff, BBS stuff, hire out as
consultant trainer/doer in any of those;
look at journalism; hassle for a column in some PC mag on any of those
areas in which you are expert.
5. All of the above.
For God's sake Paul, are you or are you not in the top 1% of the
population for computer expertise? Don't you realise that you have a lot
of sellable skills? If you are tired of being a GP then think seriously
about a move outside---or even sideways eg a sabbatical. And there must
be umpteen research projects needing doing in primary care IT with funding
not too hard to find.
