A reasonable request!
I will forward to Paul Amos at CAMS who may well be able to supply
such... I guess that you are using Version 2 aka the 5 byte Read Codes,
as your problems probably relate to the much expanded operations
section.
It may also be the implementation of Read lookup, so that could also be
a factor. Have you tried typing "DC" missing out the ampersand?
On the MIQUEST Editor from CIC:
4 byte : type "dil cur" finds a single term "Dilatation and curettage"
5 byte : type "dil cur" also finds one code .7E072
Version 3 comes up with the same...
Also get it if type "DC" without the & or + etc.
(Along with DC Duodenal Cap and DC Descending Colon!)
There are also local training courses for staff and doctors from time to
time.
