Sitting in my surgery this morning and in comes a lady, new to practice, not
happy with her HRT (Premarin 1.25mg) been on it a year. Some menopausal
symptoms but just no fizz or libido she says!
Says her "I had implants and did very well but was none too keen on the
scars
and stopped. Could it be the lack of testosterone that my consultant used
as well as the oestradiol. If so can I have it as a patch?"
Mmm I know well that gynaecologits do use testosterone as additional
implants to give women, partic high fly city career women, a bit of sparkle.
I have switched her to Oestradiol transdermal at 100mcg to see if this is
any better than equine Oe for her.
What say the list to similar on transdermal Andropatch, not licensed for
this but is the implant? Anyone any experience on this?

case with GP-UK and she was rather taken with the idea)
