I don't know this particular machine, but I have been using a
Siemens Nidorf Scenic Mobile 700 laptop for the past 18 months which
does the same kind of thing. It is excellent but requires a more
than usually powerful OHP - with a lamp of not less than 400
watts. You still need a fairly dark room too. My laptop originally
cost 2.7k pounds and visiting PG Centres puts one a hostage to
fortune as to whether they have the right OHP. If I was
re-equipping, I would buy a portable computer projector (around 2.5 k
pounds) and a Toshiba Libretto (ultra compact lightweight PC). I
have seen early models of the Libretto in Morgans for around 600
pounds and they certainly run Powerpoint very well.
