Absolutely - been in here just over a year now - had business plan and
development work done for implementing decent info handling (IT) kit
done within 6 months - agreement of partners at 7 monbths. Established
ourselves as a player in local hosp Intranet project and acquired free
ISDN line and router. Planned and installed (physically and
electronically) a proper LAN, (we all now have Medline etc on our
desktops), when the local cardiac support group wanted a speaker - I did
it, I am medical director of a new (embryonic) HeartStart scheme in the
town, I represent the practice at some telemedicine development
meetings, I have set the web tutorial thing running out from this
stable, I have doubled the medico-legal income, I have taken on BAMS
work...
Oh, and I run the busiest of the clinics (diabetic), Oh and I managed to
recruit our last two registrars, and....
Value for money, me? Nah!! I think they got a reasonable deal and
didn't have to ak - I had to ask fo mine) and of course got it with no
arguments :)
Got to go - got something to do, now, what was it? ;)
