<<Or any ideas on gross pitting oedema to mid abdomen in a reasonably well
diabetic 85 yr old developing over 2-3 days with no basal creps?>>
Either nephrotic or simple CCF--absence of basal creps due to RVF
'unloading' the LV.
Probably the CCF---coming on so quickly. Could have had a silent
MI---supposedly at least 20%, probably more in elderly and god knows how
common in diabetics since their autonomic n s is buggered.
<<Can anyone tell me about machinery murmurs in 27 yr old men?<<
Hmm, need to rack the brain on that. PDA was it?
