Rather depends on your system what your choices are. However I suspect
you have a dumb terminal system. We have AAH Meditel and have recently
re equipped some of our rooms with Epson LX 300. approx 125ukp. There
are no ink jet type printers recommended any longer for AAH meditel
which is a pain. The Epson is a dot matrix, noisyish but good typeface.
Also has the major advantage that the paper feed pushes paper out to the
tear off point and then resets itself at right level for next script.
Alternatives few and far between.

Subject: Script printers
Dear All
Our practice has recently been looking at buying some new script
printers so that the individual partners can have them in their rooms.
Unfortunately Cannon have stopped making the BJ-300 which was a inkjet
that could handle the form feed scripts. We have 4 of these that we are
going to move to the doctors room, and are going to buy 5 new Dot Matrix
printers.
What good, bad experiences have people had with these printers. Anyone
found a particularly good one?
Comments please.
