Dear Katie,
Try Tea tree oil as an inhalant and gargle - it tastes dreadful, but it
seems to work. I sometimes use a couple of sprays of serevent at night - no
evidence, but in view of the fact it's got some anti-inflamm action as well
as bronchodilation.
I hate the sheer exhaustion of not sleeping with a simple urti, so I'll also
try Actifed/dimotane plus as a 'linctus' if I'm suffering into the early
hours.
Get well soon,
Regards
Anita.
